The Difference for Your Team

My experience span nearly two decades, Serving with the Regina Police Service in Saskatchewan, Canada, including ten years as a Canine Handler before moving into a training role. My career has been defined by front-line policing, operational deployments, and a commitment to developing both police service dogs, their handlers and integrating them into operational teams. In the Canine Unit, I specialized in operational readiness, advanced handler training, and scenario-based deployment preparation, bridging tactical application with behavioural science to drive safe, effective performance. By implementing practical changes that raise the standard it will ensure that canine teams will respond effectively and safely in real-world environments.

Beyond operational duties, I have been an advocate for professional standards in canine training, the integration of modern learning methodologies into police canine programs, and the importance of physical and mental wellness for officers in high-demand roles.

Responsibilities encompass a wide range of canine-related tasks, including:

What I Bring to Your Team:

  • Operational Credibility: I’ve trained and deployed K9s in a dynamic policing environment,

  • Modern Training Methodologies: Certified in the NePoPo® system and mentored by world-class trainers. A blend of classical and operant conditioning with scenario-based drills to prepare both dog and handler for real-world applications.

  • Handler-Centric Coaching: Although seminars will shape the dogs, we will focus on lasting results by lending to the handler an ability to read behavior, make split-second decisions, and apply tools like the e-collar as directional communication, not just correction.

  • Problem-Solving in High-Pressure Environments: From addressing deployment hesitations to reconditioning behaviors under stress, we specialize in bridging the gap between a Canine’s potential and its operational performance.
